Okra, eggplant and various peppers are the prime veggies right now, with tomatoes, cucumbers, beets, radishes, squashes and sweet corn hanging on, too. Peaches are holding steady and may be joined by Asian pears this week! We’re stocked up and grassfed and pastured meats, Gulf seafood and plant-based proteins, too, plus hummus, heirloom grains, preserves, ferments and more.

Peaches and sweet corn are holding steady and we should also more figs, tomatoes, cucumbers, summer squash and zucchini! Lots of our grassfed beef, pastured pork and pastured chicken were restocked, so there’s finally more filets and ribeyes, pork stir fry strips and whole chickens, among many other cuts! Fresh goat or cow dairy arrives on Tuesdays as usual and we also restocked Church Alley’s cold brew and chai concentrate and simple syrups.

There’s a few sale gallons of whole milk from last week, along with plenty of beautiful organically grown veggies, pastured meats, Gulf seafood, hummus, rice and grits, coffee, pickles and jams and lots more. melons and figs are in their prime, along with cherry, beefsteak and heirloom tomatoes. Peaches are still wonderfully abundant and crazy good, too.

Read MoreIt’s the season of exploding forage, so the ruminants (our beef cattle and goats) are eating as much as they can, but we clip the other fields as well, including ahead of the laying hens to maximize the quality of forage growing for the rest of the year and to lay down a bunch of those woody plants as mulch on top of the soil to help build humus.
