Summer Veggies, Peaches, Filet, Ribeye & Whole Chickens, Cold Brew & Chai, Fresh Dairy & More!

What We Have and What’s Expected for the Week of July 15th

Place Your Orders Here!

In the produce realm, we are settling into the summer standbys now with watermelons, tomatoes and sweet corn hanging on but possibly wrapping up soon and the heat loving okra, eggplant and peppers really coming into their time to shine.

Also, summer squash and zucchini made a return last week, along with a few types of cucumbers. There’s also some radishes and beets available and we may get more cabbage, too. And peaches have been holding steady, too!

Early last week, we did a big meat restock from our backup freezer so we have more ribeyes, filets, skirt, hanger and flat iron steaks, chuck roasts, short ribs, osso bucco shanks, pork stir fry strips, ground pork and bacon, as well as more whole chickens, leg quarters and feet.

Another restock is coming on Thursday and we’ll aim to get some things we didn’t have room for last week like more bone-in and boneless pork chops, tenderloin, baby back ribs, 2 lb ground beef packs, beef liver and heart and more.

We are continuing our sale on bacon ends and picnic roasts, select beef steaks (NY Strip, top sirloin, sirloin tip and teres major) and goat cuts (boneless stew meat/kebab pieces, shanks and ribs).

We are out of shrimp now except for the small gumbo size, so hope to make a Gulf seafood restock this week, as well.

And Southern Maids is restocking us shortly with more fresh milk, chèvre, creole cream cheese, crumbled, brined, marinated or whipped feta and yogurt and we expect our usual Feliciana’s Best Creamery delivery of whole milk, heavy cream, half & half, chocolate milk and creole cream cheese on Tuesday by midday or so as usual.

We got a big restock from Church Alley this week including cold brew, chai concentrate and most of their simple syrups (Earl Grey, orange blossom vanilla, peppermint and classic vanilla). Plus there’s more Georgia’s Vinaigrette, too!

There’s a small supply of Nur’s Kitchen hummus, with more coming on Wednesday morning. Bellegarde bread and buns will be delivered on Wednesday and Friday as usual. There’s also both fresh and frozen Il Supremo pasta. More plain tofu is expected on Tuesday with more flavored coming on Friday and there’s also four types of frozen tempeh.

Plus there’s new (to us) sea island peas from Marsh Hen Mill. I tried them last weekend and they are just delightful.
