TWO DOG FARMS

With dreams of quitting their desk jobs and involving their children, Dorothy and Van Killen (and children Hazel, Ivan and Linden) started Two Dog Farms as a backyard garden in 2014, and in just two years time, they made their dream come true.

Today they grow on 25 acres and harvest a huge variety of crops (upwards of 30 throughout the growing seasons!), using sustainable and natural growing methods.

Specializing in seasonal field grown specialty produce, we rely on them for winter vegetables, like beets, broccoli, cabbage, carrots, cauliflower, greens, radishes, turnips and sweet potatoes, and summer produce like cucumbers, eggplant, melons, okra, onions, peppers, squash and tomatoes. With their location in Central Mississippi they have a slightly different growing season, which allows us to get our hands on produce that is just out of season down here in South Louisiana.
