What We Have and What’s Expected for the Week of October 14th

Place Your Orders Here!

Fall just keeps getting better in the produce realm!

I love it when the number of different items in the produce category gets into the 30s and 40s and we definitely achieved that last week and will get more of a bunch of things we sold out of to start the week!

First, we’ll have lots of greens! Currently we have arugula, mustard blend and mesclun salad mix and baby bok choy and we’re expecting more of all of those, plus Dino kale, Swiss chard, baby romaine lettuce and head lettuces delivered on Tuesday and Wednesday.

We also got in a bunch more specialty microgreens from NOLA Funny Farm. The cantaloupe microgreens were a big hit last week and there’s also their Super Food and Salad Blends and pea shoots.

It's also squash city with cute Lemon squash (eats like a yellow summer squash), plus Autumn Frost, Butternut and Speckled Hound pumpkins and more Delicata, Honey Bear Acorn Squash and Kabocha squashes are coming in this week, too.

We also got more garlic and radishes to help ring in fall, but summer isn't letting go yet with beautiful eggplant, bell and sweet peppers, okra and more and we also have plenty of apples.

And there's chicken from a new supplier. Some of you may recognize Pearl River Pastures from the Crescent City Farmers Market. Their prices are a bit higher than other poultry farms we source from as they do use non-GMO feed. And their pack sizes on thighs and wings especially are more family pack size!

And I am heading to our beef butcher today to pick up the next round of beef, so we will be restocking ground beef, Caveman blend ground beef, filet, ribeyes, chuck roasts and more by this evening.

There's plenty of pork, Gulf seafood, goat milk and cheese, eggs, restocked cold brew and chai concentrate, rice and grits, jams and jellies, pickles, granola in all flavors (except the seasonal pumpkin!) and more.
