What We Have and What’s Expected for the Week of November 11th

Place Your Orders Here!

Another week that the local produce is absolutely going off! The warm temperatures mean that unlike the past two years where we’ve had early frosts, tomatoes, eggplant, peppers, okra and summer squash are still hanging on.

Meanwhile, cool season produce is coming in in full force, too, even despite the weather. We also have tons of salad greens (bagged baby greens and head lettuces), the first cilantro and dill of the season, plus turnips, purple Napa and caraflex (cone) cabbage, bok choy, collards, kale, Swiss chard, radishes, kohlrabi, mirlitons and other winter squashes, sweet potatoes and garlic. A bunch of gourmet mushrooms and microgreens came in late last week, too.

Once again, we expect more cherry and heirloom slicing tomatoes delivered on Wednesday and we should get carrots, broccolini and radicchio in from Compostella tomorrow, too.

In the fruit realm, we have plenty of apples and should get more and maybe add a variety tomorrow. We will also get more persimmons, satsumas and possibly the first grapefruit of the season!

We did a pork, beef and chicken restock last Monday, plus there's plenty of Gulf seafood and tofu restocked on Friday.

There's goat milk and cheeses being added shortly and Feliciana’s Best Creamery will deliver whole milk, heavy cream, half & half, chocolate milk and creole cream cheese by tomorrow afternoon.

ALL CAPS made a delivery last week, including more of their medicinal mushroom tinctures and seasoning and we're also stocking their black garlic for the first time.

Cockeyed Farms delivered more raw honey, elderberry infused honey and elderberry juice on Friday, too. And Homestead Harvest is set to bring us another batch of honey in squeeze bottles this week, as well.

Eggs were limited last week as we adjusted wholesale accounts for the season, but we aim to have more available for retail this week!

Plus we have plenty of preserves, ferments, coffee and tea, stone-milled flours, grits, cornmeal, whole grains and popcorn, pecan products, maple syrup and more.
