Shrimp, Broth Season Sale, Hummus, New Mushroom Products, Hot Sauce, Brioche Croutons & More!
What We Have and What’s Expected for the Week of January 13th
Place Your Orders Here!
We really hit our 2025 stride last week, restocking and adding new products from lots of our favorite vendors.
So there's more shrimp and other fish at long last, plus new citrus (just kumquats left, but more blood oranges and tangerines coming tomorrow), more mushrooms (bulk sale and other smaller quantities), lots of winter veggies, hummus, new products from ALL CAPS gourmet mushrooms, hot honey brioche croutons from Bellegarde, new hot sauce and restocked hummus and pesto, kombucha, coffee and more.
In all, we received products from something like 22 vendors last week, many of them on Thursday alone!
Unfortunately, our hens dropped their production back way down in the cold and so we’ll try to get more from the Little Brown Egg Farm, Pearl River Pastures and/or A&A Acres to keep up if we can! While we have not been directly by Avian flu, it has certain caused demand to increase. I wrote more about that here on the farm update.
I just added more Southern Maids goat dairy to the online inventory and Feliciana’s Best will deliver tomorrow by midday as usual. They even brought butter last week after months of not making it!
And we did a big beef, pork and goat restock on Friday, so there’s more ground beef, Caveman ground beef blend, filet, ribeye, chuck roasts, bacon, pork tenderloin, stir fry strips and goat leg roasts and shanks to braise.
We’re also doing a sale on pork and beef bones for broth season, along with some other pork cuts like Boston butts, smoked hocks and spare ribs.

Pastured Eggs: Eggs are out currently, hopefully we’ll be able to get more from the Little Brown Egg Farm tomorrow. It looks like ours have not laid enough to have any beyond what we are committed to for Grow Dat’s farm share customers.
Pastured Dairy: Stocked up on goat milk, various cheeses, creole cream cheese and yogurt and once again, we’ll restock Feliciana’s Best dairy products tomorrow, too.

We sold so much pork in the last few weeks that even though I maxed out my car doing the restock on Friday, we still didn’t get everything we’re out of!
