Beef, Pork & Chicken Restock, Apples, Pears & Peaches, Gingerbooch, Goat Dairy & More!

What We Have and What’s Expected for the Week of August 12th

Place Your Orders Here!

A bunch more of all your favorite meats are back in stock! We went longer than usual between restocks and were out of ground beef, bacon, pork chops, whole chickens, leg quarters and more.

That's all fixed now with a massive restock late last week. We restocked all of the above, plus Caveman ground beef, hamburger and slider patties, beef tenderloin, NY Strip steaks, flank steaks, shish kebab/steak bites, chuck roasts, stew beef, pork roasts, Cajun links, chorizo, breakfast and Italian sausages, spare ribs, roasts, beef and pork organ meats and more.

And perhaps even better, we did indeed get the first apples of the season from Mountain View Orchards last week and they should be here to stay. The first ones are Gala apples, but there will be more varieties as the season progresses from Mountain View, as well as Scott’s Orchard, which is also in northern Alabama.

Peaches, bless them, are still holding steady, too, and we should get more of those on Tuesday and we also have more Asian pears.

Produce still mainly features eggplant, okra and peppers, with cucumbers, squashes, beets, radishes and sweet potatoes in the mix, too. We’re hoping for a few new types of sweet peppers this week to mix things up and we will certainly get tomatoes and watermelons if they end up being available.

Gingerbooch did a big beverage restock last week and it’s going fast as usual. There are three flavors of kombucha and probiotic lemonade or limeade.

We already did our Southern Maids restock for the week and there’s more of their Green Geauxt avocado goat cheese spread, along with all the other cheeses, milk and yogurt.

Nur’s Kitchen should be back open with hummus this week, so we hope to restock on Wednesday!

And there’s lots of other staples like rice, grits and whole grains, stone-milled flour, bread, buns, pasta, biscuits and pizza dough, jams and jellies, pickles and fermented veggies, simple syrups, coffee, honey and maple syrup, salts and seasonings, herbal teas and tinctures and more.
