Cockeyed Farms is Louisiana's first commercial Elderberry farm, run by Brandon and Lauren Breaux. 

The Breaux Family devotes 100% of their time to the successful growth of the beyond organic American elderberry and blueberry orchards, on-site apiary and value-added products facility. 

Less than 2% of elderberry products sold in the US are actually grown in the US. European elderberry (Sambucus nigra) is good, but contains cyanide and must be processed at high temperatures before consumption. Scientific data indicates that American elderberry (Sambucus Canadensis) is overwhelmingly best and without cyanide the entire berry can be used unheated in the most unique and medicinally potent ways.
