Barton Springs Mill specializes in stone-milled heirloom and landrace grains, many grown in Texas since the late 1800s. In a nod to the many kernels of corn and berries of wheat that were milled by power from Barton’s springs, they chose the name Barton Springs Mill.
Working hand-in-hand with their farmers, they act as their own seedsman by providing their seed stock directly to the growers. The resulting crops come straight from the combine to their door, where they clean and bag whole berries in one-ton totes. They mill on-demand for their wholesale customers, retailers, online customers, and farmers markets, ensuring the freshest of the fresh flours for your kitchen.

Practices: Barton Spring Mills products are CCOF certified organic. All of their farmers are certified organic and all of their grains are open-pollinated ancient, landrace, or carefully selected modern grain varieties. Organic certification prohibits any use of GMO seed stock.
