MAHAFFEY FARMS

Mahaffey Farms is a family farm in the Shreveport-Bossier area of North Louisiana that raises pastured pork and chicken and grass-fed and finished beef. 

Their broilers (meat chickens) are raised in mobile chicken tractors that move onto fresh pasture daily. These mobile coops not only protect young chickens from predators, but also keep them cool in summer months and warm and dry in winter months. This method produces high quality chicken with outstanding flavor, texture and nutrition.

Taking a holistic approach to everything they do, their mission is to produce healthy, delicious foods for the community as they regenerate their land. They believe everything on the farm is connected and every decision affects every part of the farm, their products and ultimately the community. Their objectives are Regenerative Landscapes, Resilient Community and Valuable Nourishment.
